Former Flying Fijians skipper Deacon Manu has been ruled out for three months after being injured while playing for his Scarlets side in their win against Treviso in the Pro12 competition.
Manu is likely to have an operation this Friday.
Meanwhile, the Barbarians have confirmed that Schalk Burger will join Springbok captain Jean de Villiers in the team to take on Fiji at Twickenham on the 01st of December.
He will be joined by Springboks skipper De Villiers in a team that will be coached by All Blacks mentor Steve Hansen.
The Flying Fijians will play Portugal in their first match on the 10th of next month before playing Italy on the 17th then Romania on the 24th.
