Police are investigating the death of a 54 year old man of Vuda, Lautoka whose body was found on a beach this morning.
Divisional Crime Officer Western, SP Vijay Singh has confirmed that the body was found this morning and officers from the forensic team are still conducting their investigations.
According to SP Singh the deceased was last seen drinking with a friend on a bridge in the area a few days ago and was later discovered missing.
Police are awaiting the post mortem report before deciding on their next step.
The man who was last seen drinking with the deceased remains under investigations.
