A major manhunt is still underway to arrest the two men who were involved in a daylight robbery inside the USP compound on Monday.

Deputy Divisional Crime Officer Southern, ASP Keshri Lal has confirmed that police are still trying to piece together the leads they have so far.

The getaway vehicle is yet to be recovered.

The two masked men armed with iron rods threatened the employees of Dan's Fish and Chips and Service station and stole $54,688 in cash and cheques.

The employees were on their way to deposit the weekends takings at the ANZ's bank branch at USP.
