Police have taken in the manager and a cashier of Nabua's Supreme Fuel Service Station into custody after they discovered that a break-in reported at the station was an alleged inside job.

Police Media Liason Officer, Atu Sokomuri confirms that the two employees of the service station were taken back to the premises yesterday and police have managed to recover $34,000 cash and $38,000 worth of cheques.

Sokomuri said the total amount of money allegedly stolen by the two employees is unknown at this stage however the $72,000 in cash and cheques was found hidden at the service station in Nabua.

It was earlier reported that Police were questioning a man who was allegedly involved in the robbery at Nabua Supreme Fuel on Friday night.

It was reported that the break-in occurred when the service station was closed on Friday night.
