The management of Nukuloa College Ba will now be raising funds to rebuild three classrooms and a bulk store that was destroyed in a fire on Monday evening.
School Secretary Harendra Singh told Fijivillage that 76 students of Form 1 to Form 3 were occupying the three classrooms and they have already written to various organizations for assistance.
Singh said the students are continuing with their studies in the primary school and science lab.
Meanwhile, Ba Fire Station Officer-in-charge Waisea Matawai had earlier said that they are treating the incident as suspicious, as the only source of ignition was electrical but in this case, Mataiwai said the lights were still on.
Investigations continue.
