Playing "Scratch and Win" once a week with a dream of winning, finally came true for a 40 year old man who won $30,000 after scratching a "Happy Holiday Island Ticket" at Atlas Lotto Agency in Suva yesterday.
Fiji Tattslotto resident executive director Graeme Brown said Shaa who is married with three children was shocked and lost for words when he realized that he had won $30,000.
Shaa said as well as being an early Diwali gift, the money has come at the right time as his mother is currently admitted at the hospital for a throat and neck operation, while his children need clothes and food.
Shaa scratched the $1 "Happy Holiday Island Ticket".
He will be presented with this prize next week.
