Police are questioning a 20 year man who allegedly defiled a 15 year old girl in Labasa last week.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed the matter was reported to Police by the victim’s mother when she found out that her daughter had gone to her friend’s home instead of going to school.
It is alleged the man visited the girl in a settlement outside Labasa town last week and allegedly defiled her.
The girl is currently at the Labasa hospital.
