A 22-year-old man pleaded guilty to charges of forgery, uttering false documents and obtaining money be false pretences in the Suva Magistrates court this morning.

Tomasi Koroitoga on two separate occasions stole cheques butts in October last year from a soldier, Pita Tuiqila, forged his signature and withdrew money from his account totaling $1,050.

The ANZ bank was notified on the incident who informed police and Koroitoga was arrested. He will be sentenced the 17th of this month.
