A 32-year-old man charged with indecent assault pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court today.
The court heard that on 18th of March this year, Nita Roko indecently assaulted a female along Victoria Parade around 9pm that day.
He has been ordered to pay a fine of $200.
Meanwhile, a woman charged with indecently insulting a police officer was handed a bound over sentence by the Suva Magistrate’s Court.
On 21st January last year, Monica McDonald swore at a 23-year-old police constable whilst drunk.
She pleaded guilty to the charges and was bound over for $200 for 12 months and was told to pay a fine of $100.
