Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 31-year-old man in Suva this morning.
The man passed away after a billboard allegedly fell on him at Edinburgh Drive at about 9.30am.
Police spokesperson Inspector Josaia Weicavu said they have received information that the man was working on changing a poster on the billboard.
He was on a cherry picker and got stuck in the bucket.
Police and NFA officers rushed the man after getting him down however he was dead on arrival at the hospital.
The man was an employee of a billboard advertising company.
