Man not happy with police response
Joji Takape said his sister-in-law and her son was found by a couple of Naqara Island and not found by the Police and Search Rescue team.
Takape is disappointed that when they reported the matter to Totogo last night, they were referred to Lami Police and they were reassured that help was on the way.
Meanwhile Police spokesperson Sergeant Suliano Tevita said they did send their team to search for the two, but they were already found this morning.
Meanwhile, 7 people who were said to be missing at sea since yesterday afternoon are safe and taking shelter in a village in Ovalau.
Sergeant Tevita confirmed the 7 people are taking shelter at Vagadaci Village in Ovalau Levuka.
The 7 had left Suva for Lamiti in Gau and according to Police, at 10 o'clock last night they received a call from the people on board that they were experiencing engine problems and they were drifting near Koro sea.
