Police are questioning a 50 year old man who allegedly hacked his wife with a cane knife in Nadi on Tuesday morning.
Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said differences arose between the two after an argument and it is alleged that the 50 year old man hacked his 27 year old wife with a cane knife.
The 50 year old man is now in police custody while the 27 year old wife is admitted at the Lautoka Hospital with injuries to both her wrist and head.
Charges are expected to be laid soon.
