The Suva Magistrate’s Court today sentenced a 20 year old man to two years 8 months imprisonment for house breaking, entering and larceny.

The court was told that Livia Nabulu of Nadonumai, Lami, with three others broke into the house of Sarvesh Deven of Nakauvadra Road and stole items worth $10,120 last month.

Police prosecutor Sergeant Feroz Khan told the court that police only managed to recover items worth $150.

The court was also told Nabulu had four other similar convictions.

Magistrate Eperama Rokoika first sentenced Nabulu to 3 years then reduced it to 2 years 8 months after considering his guilty plea.
