A 30 year old man who damaged his girlfriends mobile phone worth $65 was today jailed for 6 months by the Suva Magistrates court.
The court heard that Ilisaveni Rokoura damaged his girlfriends motorola mobile phone on 22nd of Feburary this year after an argument.
While sentencing Rokoura, Magistrate Amaniasi Katonivualiku highlighted that he has three previous convictions, all of the same nature.
Magistrate Katonivualiku also said that Rokoura is a violent person and jail is the right place for him.
