A 64-year-old man is currently admitted in a serious condition at the Nadi Hospital after he was allegedly hit by a vehicle while crossing the road this morning.
Police say the incident happened along the Queens Road in Saweni, Lautoka at 10.
The 64-year-old victim of Vatiaka, Ba was crossing the road when he was allegedly hit by a vehicle driven by a 40-year-old man.
The 40-year-old driver of Malolo, Nadi is in police custody while the victim is admitted at the Intensive Care Unit with serious head injuries.
Investigations continue.
