A man is admitted at the Labasa Hospital in a serious condition after he fell from the grandstand at Subrail Park during a soccer tournament two days ago.
Regional Police Commander Northern, Ram Chetty said they are still awaiting medical examination from the hospital.
The man was drinking grog with a group of other men when he suddenly fell from about 50 feet.
Meanwhile, a man from Nabekavu in Labasa has been arrested by police for allegedly stealing a farmer’s goat and later killing and cooking it.
When police raided the man's house yesterday afternoon he was caught red handed cooking the goat meat.
He is expected to appear in Labasa magistrate court later tomorrow.
