A 45 year old man of Lovu, Lautoka is in critical condition at the Lautoka hospital after he was brutally assaulted by five unknown men at around 10.30pm last night.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri has confirmed that the man was inside his home when five men entered the house and started assaulting him.
The man became unconscious and he was taken to the Lautoka hospital where he is admitted in coma.
Police are trying to establish what the motive behind the assault was and where these five unidentified man came from.
Police are also calling for information.
