A 50-year-old Nadi man is in police custody for allegedly harboring his son who escaped from the police custody last week.
Assistant Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri has confirmed the man was arrested on Saturday night after police raided his house.
According to Sokomuri the suspect's son escaped from the custody of Nadi Police and police were hunting for him for the past few days.
A raid was carried out and police arrested the escapee and his father.
Both are expected to be charged soon.
