A 36 year old man of Jittu Estate, Raiwaqa is in police custody for allegedly harbouring escapee, Villiame Gauna.
Police upon getting a tipoff raided the suspect’s house yesterday morning and arrested Gauna.
Assistant Spokesperson Sergeant Suliano Tevita has warned members of the public that harbouring prisoners is a serious offence and anyone found doing so will have to face the full brunt of the law.
Gauna was a remanded prisoner at Korovou Prison when he escaped.
