Nausori Police have taken a man into custody for allegedly raping the sister of his defacto wife.
Divsional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Ramesh Chand confirms the man who is in his late 30's is from Nausori.
Chand said the man allegedly raped the 16 year old girl yesterday morning and the matter was reported to Police yesterday afternoon.
Chand adds the man was living with his de-facto wife and her sister for quite some time. The girl also told Police that the man had allegedly raped her before but she had not reported the matter to anyone.
Police are expected to charge the man after all necessary tests are completed.
