Lautoka Police are questioning a man who allegedly raped a woman who is now nine months pregnant.
Police Spokesperson Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed that the matter was reported to police by the social welfare department last week when the girl visited the hospital and it was found out that the girl is only 17 years old and about to give birth.
It is alleged that the girl was raped by a man from the same settlement earlier this year.
