A 30 year old man is spending his Christmas in police custody after he was caught red handed hiding after break in into a house last night.
Labasa Police confirms that the 30 year old broke into the house of a manager last night when the owner was away attending a party.
The 30 year old stole jewellery, mobile phone and other items. Police say he was trying to escape when the owner returned and he hid behind bushes when he was seen by another person accompanying the manager.
He was arrested at the scene and in now in police custody. He was drunk at the time of the incident.
