A 42 year old man charged with negligence appeared in Rakiraki court today.
It is alleged that Apanisa Delaibau tried to sabotage the operations of the mill and his actions caused damage to one of the machines in the mill which caused a delay in crushing.
The incident happened last Friday as loads of cane was delivered to the mill for crushing. No plea was taken as he requested time to be represented by a lawyer. He was bailed and the case has been adjourned till 29th July.
