A 25 year old man of Votualevu in Nadi is in police custody for allegedly assaulting his wife during a domestic dispute yesterday.
Police said the woman has received serious injuries and is admitted at the Nadi Hospital.
Charges are expected to be laid on the husband after police interview the victim.
