A 29 year old man from Suva has been sentenced to 9 months imprisonment by the Suva Magistrates Court after pleading guilty to larceny by servant.
The Court heard that Naveen Prasad while employed as a bowser attendant at Carpenters service station took $400 from the fuel takings between 1st April till 26 May of this year.
Magistrate Eparama Rokoika also heard that Prasad pleaded guilty to the offence when he was questioned by his manager in May and taking this into account that he has one previous count of the same offence, sent Prasad to jail for 9 months.
