More and more people are now being questioned and taken into custody for either cultivating or transporting marijuana.

Police Drugs Unit arrested a man in Navosa yesterday who was on his way to sell dry leaves believed to marijuana.

Officer In Charge Drugs, ASP Sakeo Ganivatu said there are more people out there who are involved with marijuana business and their officers are now working around the clock to apprehend these people.

Meanwhile, police arrested 42 year old man yesterday morning at Suva wharf who was found with $2000 worth of dried leaves believed to be marijuana.

Officer In Charge Drugs, ASP Sakeo Ganivatu said they have received information that the man has been allegedly cultivating marijuana in Moala and was selling it in Suva.
