Man fights for life in CWM
Assistant Police Spokesperson Sergeant Suliano Tevita confirmed the man is in a coma and his situation has worsened from yesterday.
The man will undergo an operation soon.
According to Tevita they have taken a suspect into custody and Suva Police are currently questioning him.
It is alleged the suspect punched the 43 year old man during an argument in Suva city early yesterday morning.
Meanwhile, Police are hunting for three youths who robbed a taxi driver yesterday afternoon at Verrier road in Namadi Heights.
The youths allegedly assaulted the driver and took off with his taxi, registered LT 1673 which is still missing.
The robbers also took $96 in cash and a mobile phone from the driver.
Police believe the taxi can be used in a planned robbery and has urged the general public to contact the nearest Police station should they spot this taxi.
