The Easter Holidays turned tragic for a family of Vunisea, Kadavu on Friday when the head of a family was electrocuted.

The 47 year old man was trying to repair live wires which were running from the power station to the market when he got electrocuted.

The post moterm of the deceased will be carried out tomorrow.

Meanwhile a Nakasi businessman is the latest victim of metal theft after $30,000 worth cable and other metals was stolen from outside his house on Friday night.

Police Spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said they are also investigating a case where $8000 worth of cables were stolen from Airports Fiji Limited compound in Nausori.
