A 52 year old man of Nadi drowned while partying with his family at a resort yesterday.
Assistant Spokesperson, Sergeant Suliano Tevita said the man went to visit his relatives at a resort in Nadi who had come from abroad.
According to police, the man dived into the swimming pool and failed to come up.
He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Nadi hospital.
The drowning toll is now three compared to seven during the same period last year.
