The post mortem report of a 51 year old man whose remains were found after his house burnt down reveals that he died of severe burns.

Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri confirms that the man died of fifth degree burns.

He also said investigations are continuing as they are now awaiting the report from the National Fire Authority.

Meanwhile, Divisional Fire Officer Northern, John Pillay yesterday confirmed that NFA was not informed of the fire on
Monday and findings show that 10 people were living in the house.

However, they are receiving contradictory statements from the family members.
