A 44-year-old man who was struck by a lightning last week in Labasa died yesterday afternoon.
Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro confirmed the man died of brain injuries.
A relative and neighbor, Yanjet Sami said the Vunivau community will really miss the deceased Jai Narayan and are grieving with his wife and two children.
Four people were struck by lightning at Vunivau last week and were taken to the hospital.
Narayan died at the Labasa hospital where he was admitted following the incident.
