Police are investigating a case where a man was found with injuries at Lokia Landing in Nausori yesterday morning which resulted in his death..
Our reporter on the ground told Fijivillage that the incident happened at around at 8am.
A group of girls who went to get some dalo leaves found the man with visible injuries on his body and he was groaning in pain.
He says the girls called for help and the man was taken to the Nausori Hospital where he passed away after few minutes.
The man is believed to be in his 40's.
Police have confirmed that it is too early to speculate circumstances surrounding the death of the man.
Police say if the incident is related to a robbery then investigators will need time to determine the cause of his death.
