A woman is admitted at the Lautoka hospital and a man has died after a domestic dispute in Rakiraki yesterday.
Assistant police Spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the incident occurred as a result of an argument adding the husband allegedly struck his wife with a cane-knife a number of times.
The man then left her.
The woman was found by some people who then took her to the Rakiraki hospital.
Due to the seriousness of her injuries she was then transferred to the Lautoka hospital.
Investigations into the incident and the man's death continues.
