Man dies after bumped by taxi
Police Assistant Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri confirms the unidentified man was walking up through the World Harvest Center building towards Delainamasi Primary school when he was chased by two dogs.
Inspector Sokomuri said the man tried to escape from the dogs and in the process ran across the road and was bumped by an on-coming taxi and died instantly.
Police are now calling on the public for any information on the deceased who is yet to be identified and are urging people to come forward if any of their family members is missing.
The deceased was wearing dark blue 3/4 cargo pants and grey vest and is about 6 feet tall. If you have any information at all or if a family member is missing, you can call Inspector Sokomuri on 9905743 or the nearest Police station.
Meanwhile, Sokomuri also said that police have questioned a owner of the two dogs.
