A 30 year self employed man of Vutualevu Nadi who is charged with two counts of tendering counterfeit notes appeared in Lautoka Magistrate Court yesterday afternoon.
Anand Kumar is alleged to have used two $50 counterfeit notes and bought crabs on two occasions.
Kumar pleaded not guilty to the charges and has been remanded in custody until 18th May.
A number of fake notes have been discovered around the country in the last few weeks.
