An unemployed man of Votua Housing Sigatoka has been charged with one count of Murder in relation to the alleged murder of a 29yr old man.
Divisional Crime Officer Western, SP Vijay Singh had confirmed that the man will appear in a special court sitting at the Sigatoka Magistrates court this afternoon.
According to SP Singh, the other person who was also arrested with the suspect has been interviewed and released.
Charges were laid this morning after the post mortem report yesterday revealed that the 29 year old man died of brain hemorrhage.
It is alleged the suspect punched him during a drinking party which caused his death.
