Police have arrested and charged a man for allegedly stealing cash and items worth more than $70,000 from a house in Nausori over the weekend.
He has been charged with burglary and will appear in the Nausori Magistrates court today.
The owner of the house was away when the man allegedly entered and ransacked the house.
It is further alleged that he loaded the stolen items in the owner's vehicle and fled the scene.
The vehicle was found abandoned at 10 miles.
Police have also managed to recover all the stolen items.
