A villager is being questioned in relation to the alleged brutal murder of man and a woman whose bodies were found in a cassava patch in Kasavu, Nausori yesterday afternoon.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the suspect surrendered himself at the Nausori Police Station.
The discovery of the bodies in a cassava patch in Kasavu was made yesterday by a passerby who alerted Police.
According to Sokomuri the bodies were covered with a corrugated iron and leaves.
Police say both the victims were visibly badly injured.
A Post mortem is expected to be conducted later today.
