A 38 year old welder of Nabua is in police custody for allegedly setting his friend’s house on fire on Tuesday night.
Assistant Spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the welder who was allegedly drunk at the time of the incident, went to his friend’s house in Newtown and allegedly poured kerosene before setting the house on fire.
According to police there were some differences between the 2 which led to the incident.
The lean-to house completely burnt down with all its content.
The suspect is expected to be charged soon.
