Police are looking for a man who allegedly raped a 23-yr-old woman at Vuda Point Road, Lautoka yesterday morning.
The victim was drinking with some friends, including the suspect, when he dragged her to a nearby bush after she went to relieve herself.
She was then assaulted and allegedly raped. She received some injuries.
Investigations are continuing.
Meanwhile, a 46-yr-old woman is admitted in hospital after the taxi she was travelling in veered off the road and landed in a drain.
The incident happened at about 4.30 yesterday afternoon at Veisari, Lami.
The woman was a passenger in the taxi driven by her husband heading towards Sigatoka. At Veisari, the driver lost control of the vehicle and it veered off the road and landed in the drain.
Investigations are also continuing.
