Police are expected to lay charges on a man from Taveuni for allegedly impersonating a soldier.
The alleged incident took place during the rehabilitation efforts in Taveuni following cyclone Tomas.
The man is currently in custody and is expected to appear in court tomorrow.
Military Spokesperson Lt. Colonel Neumi Leweni had earlier confirmed the RFMF is also investigating the matter to ascertain how the man got hold of the Military Uniform.
Police believe the uniform was stolen from Suva.
