A 30 year old farmer of Kadavu has been taken into custody who was allegedly found with dried leaves at the Narain jetty early yesterday morning believed to be marijuana.
Police confirm the man was allegedly hiding 200 grams of dried leaves in his trousers.
He was confronted by Police officers at the jetty and when questioned the man allegedly revealed that he also has a farm in Kadavu where he grows marijuana plants.
Police are expected to raid the marijuana farm in Kadavu soon.
