A 20-year-old man will appear in Nausori Magistrate Court this morning charged with the alleged defilement of a 16-year-old girl.
Divisional Crime Officer Eastern ASP Ramesh Chand confirmed Vunidawa Police is now bringing the man to Nausori.
According to Chand the man was charged late yesterday afternoon.
The man is alleged to have committed this act at an evacuation centre in Vunidawa.
