The crew members of Spirit of the Fiji Islands, a Consort Shipping Line vessel, were stopped in the middle of the sea yesterday afternoon after a man jumped from the boat.
Consort Shipping has confirmed the boat was coming to Suva from Savusavu and on the way the man jumped off the moving boat.
Crew members quickly lowered the dinghy and saved him from drowning.
