Police are still questioning a man who is alleged to have been involved in the murder of 19 year old van driver Rajesh Prasad of Navua on Saturday.

Director CID Waisea Vakamocea said the man was taken in for questioning at midday yesterday after initial police investigations.

Superintendent Vakamocea has also confirmed that they are following some strong leads and more arrests are expected to be made soon. It is still unclear on the motive behind Prasad's murder.

A team of 20 officers from Criminal Investigations Department from Suva and Navua and also officers from the Strike Back Team are investigating the case.

A 39 year old man saw Prasad's van parked in an isolated spot with blood inside and reported the matter at the Pacific Harbour Police Post who responded immediately and found Prasad's body about 200 metres away from the van. There was evidence of stab wounds on the victim’s neck, chest and other parts of his body. He was last seen with two passengers.
