A 68 year old man charged with five counts of impersonation, forgery, obtaining money by false pretences and false documents pleaded guilty in the Suva Magistrates Court this morning.

Josefata Vusoni of Nakalou, Macuata, appeared before Suva Magistrate Ajmal Khan today and the court heard that between the 13th and 19th of May, 2005, he impersonated Peniasi Cewala and obtained $13,000 from his Fiji National Provident Fund account.

Cewala later reported the matter to the FNPF which was referred to the police and $8,990 was recovered.

The accused will be sentenced later today.
