A man is now recovering in hospital after he was hit by a car in Walu Bay earlier this morning.
Police Media Liaison Officer Atu Sokomuri said the vehicle was driven by a 25-year-old man who was driving towards Suva town when this unidentified drunken man suddenly crossed the road.
The driver has been questioned and released.
