A 36 year old man is admitted in Labasa hospital after being found unconscious in Savusavu Town at about 2.30am yesterday.
Assistant Police spokesperson, Corporal Suliano Tevita said police officer were attending to a report of a fight in progress when they found the victim lying unconscious beside the road.
He was taken to Savusavu hospital but later transferred to Labasa hospital.
Tevita said blood was coming out from the victim’s ears and he is still unconscious.
It is believed that the man was victim of an assault.
