A 55 year old man died in Labasa after getting crushed under a tractor yesterday afternoon.
Police confirmed the deceased Hari Narayan was driving the tractor trailer laden with cane in Korowiri and the tractor went down a slope and Narayan was thrown off.
Police said he got stuck under the machine and died instantly.
A post mortem of the deceased is expected to be carried out tomorrow.
