A 25 yr old man from Savutalele settlement in Tacirua, charged with murdering his 19 yr old brother yesterday, has been remanded in custody by the Valelevu court.
Misaele Bale will be held in Valelevu police station for two days followed by ten days in Korovou prison.
The court heard Bale and his 19 yr-old brother Mataro Tui Lakila were at home yesterday morning when they argued over a 25 yr-old tobacco pipe. It has been alleged the suspect stabbed his brother in the chest with a kitchen knife.
Bale is to re-appear at the Valelevu court on the 15th of this month.
